CIT Program
Our Coach In Training (CIT) program at Next Level Watersports aims to cultivate the next generation of top-tier coaches from within our community. Prerequisites for participation include a genuine passion for watersports, a basic understanding of kiting, wakeboarding, winging, and hydrofoiling, active involvement in our Kids Clinic programming, and a valid driver's license. Throughout the CIT program, participants will:
The program spans two years, from ages 16 to 18, culminating in the opportunity to obtain a captain's license and transition into a full-time coaching role. CITs play a crucial role in supporting Next Level Watersports by handling behind-the-scenes tasks such as boat preparation, equipment maintenance, basic repairs, fueling, and ensuring seamless client experiences on a daily basis.

Are you on the lookout for the ultimate summer gig? Look no further – join our team at Next Level Watersports! We're in search of passionate individuals who embody professionalism, positivity, and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing their love of watersports with our clients, all while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Ideal candidates will be seasoned kiteboarders proficient in advanced tricks, hydrofoil riding, and wave riding. Additional skills in winging and wakeboarding are a bonus. Experience in operating and maintaining various motorboats is a must. Above all, candidates should possess strong emotional intelligence, capable of forging authentic connections with our exceptional clients and contributing as a beacon of positivity within our incredible team.
While prior coaching experience is preferred, it's not a prerequisite. At Next Level Watersports, we've developed a unique training system designed to equip you with all the necessary skills to deliver outstanding client service across our service offerings. We require all staff to hold valid USCG OUPV Captain's Licenses and current Red Cross First Aid/CPR certifications.* Additionally, housing options are available on the island.
